My Story

During my fourteen years as a professional athlete11 with the WNBA–I got the opportunity of a lifetime to work with some amazing teams of people and travel the world inspiring the young at heart.

I got my start at the University of Kansas, where I was a student athlete and member of the Omega Theta Chapter of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority Inc.  Basketball provided me with the motivation and support to succeed early on, but I have since found my deeper purpose in giving back to my community.

In 2005, in memory of my late grandmother who dedicated her life to special needs children, I founded the Betty Ann Robinson Foundation. Through her legacy in this foundation, she continues to inspire thousands of young women to “raise the B.A.R” in their personal, academic, and spiritual lives. Every day, I am more grateful for her passing down to me the tenacity and work ethic it took to build a professional basketball career and now, off the court, carry forward her important work.

I am a change agent on a mission to save my community one family at a time by impacting futures of generations.  If you’re as passionate as I am about inspiring young people and community groups to aim higher and make better choices, let’s talk.

Motivational speaking is one of my favorite ways to get groups fired up about the right things.  I am based in Snellville GA, here in Gwinnett County, but I speak regularly to groups all over greater Metro Atlanta and to corporate events nationwide.
